30 Days of Thanksgiving - Day 26

I guess it is ungrateful of me to grumble about work yesterday without giving thanks for actually having employment. I enjoy my work as a Database Analyst for a growing IT company. While the company is not perfect, it is pretty good. There are a lot of great co-workers and I really like upper management.

My job is very challenging and I can never sit back and rest. There are plenty of opportunities to continue to learn and grow.

The more I read on the news about rising unemployment and people losing their homes because of the economy - the more I am grateful for having a stable job and being appreciated for the work I do.
